Formula e returning to Monaco?

La Formula e should very soon confirm the return of Formula e to the streets of Monte-Carlo. After a first edition of the Monaco ePrix, the organizers of the electric single-seater discipline preferred to keep the trip planned for June 4 to Moscow (Russia) for the 2015-2016 season.

The project, however, fell through due to “last minute logistical inconveniences”, has explained Alexander Agag, the promoter of Formula e, in issue 2061 of AUTOhebdo.

According to Nice-Matin, the return of Formula e to the Rock should be confirmed in the coming hours or at the end of the week at the latest. Two meetings were held on this subject at the Prince's Palace and at the Ministry of State.

This project would notably explain the presence of Albert of Monaco at the Paris ePrix on April 23. This test would be held only a week after the arrival of the F1 if the date is kept.
