Xavier Lemarchand from Normandy remains the king of slaloms and retains his title at the end of a day of competition contested on the Lessay track in the English Channel. With 123 competitors registered and an audience responding, this edition proved to be a sporting and popular success for one of the most accessible categories of motorsport.
This year, the Normandy Automobile Sports League organized 13 slaloms spread across the region, including nine for the Manche department alone, fertile land for automobile champions. However, it was the first time that it was awarded the organization of the Final. A major challenge and successfully met in just a few months with the help of the ASA du Bocage and its President Philippe Leredde.

While the paddock took place on the track Rallycross from the Lessay mechanical center, which usually hosts the French Championship, the track of karting had been fitted out to accommodate the competition. More than 120 finalist competitors faced the clock at the wheel of cars of all categories, whose quality of preparation deserves to be highlighted. The Spectator Village welcomed all the Leagues in a beautiful atmosphere.
History will remember that Xavier Lemarchand won the scratch in the 5 rounds of the race on his Dallara. F302-304 with 01,247 ahead of Thibaut Lemoine and 03,238 over Christophe Rosé, the winner of the 2019 Coupe de France.
