24 Hours of Spa - Generous to the end

Alessandro Pier Guidi, well supported by Côme Ledogar and Nicklas Nielsen, managed to win in the Ardennes classic. Their Ferrari 488 led for almost 18 hours. However, it was in the final moments of this edition of the 24 Hours of Spa that the Italian driver forced his destiny by delivering an incredible overtake in a rain-soaked Blanchimont. Dries Vanthoor (Audi R8 LMS), fragile leader at that moment, still hasn't come back from it.

Not a soul in the paddock. There are just a few minutes left before the checkered flag falls on the 24 2021 Hours of Spa. The few people allowed inside the circuit have fled the rain to better huddle in front of the screens adorning the pits. We're holding our breath. The clock has practically run out.
