The 19th hour of the race at Le Mans was marked by the intervention of the safety car which entered the track to allow the marshals to repair a manhole cover at Tertre Rouge. The race resumed after several tens of minutes but the sector remains in the “slow zone”.

La Toyota n ° 8 of Fernando Alonso now has a one-minute lead over José-Maria Lopez's sister car.
In LM P2, the No. 217 United Autosports Ligier JS P22 driven by Paul di Resta took fourth position in the category against the Idec Sport Racing Oreca 07 driven by Paul-Loup Chatin. G-Drive Racing maintains control of the category with the No. 26 of Jean-Éric Vergne preceding the Ligier of Panis-Barthez Competition in which Will Stevens is racing, Pierre Thiriet remaining in third place in LM P2 on theAlpine A470.
If the Porsche No. 92 continues to dominate the GTE Pro with Michael Christensen at the wheel, the sister car No. 91 of Gianmaria Bruni is threatened by the No. 69 Ford GT of Dirk Müller returning to its exhausts. Christian Ried remains in the lead in GTE Am with the No. 911 Dempsey-Proton Racing 77 RSR.
