As Test Day looms 24 Hours of Le Mans On June 3, the ACO confirmed the Technology Equivalence for the LM P1 category for the first confrontation on the track before the double round of the clock at Sarthe (June 16-17).
The private LM P1s operated by Rebellion Racing, SMP Racing, ByKolles Racing, etc. saw their fuel flow increase to 108 kg/h, compared to 110 at Spa.
This discount currently only applies to the Test Day and can be modified in preparation for the race. Several data, notably the quantity of fuel available per lap for a private LM P1, will be established after the Test Day.
On the side of Toyota TS050 Hybrid will operate on the track with 124,9 MJ per revolution of available fossil energy and a fuel flow established at 80 kg/h.
The FIA says the parameters will be set so that drivers do not have to take their foot off the gas to save fuel.
