If victory went to Alpine, these 6 Hours of Monza 2022 were the scene of the first official outing of the Peugeot 9X8 No. 93 and No. 94. Long awaited, the Sochalian Hypercars made their competitive debut.

In Italy, the men of Christian Deltombe, team manager of Peugeot Sport, were never able to claim victory. Nothing really surprising for them since they came mainly to collect data for their first full season in WEC with the 9X8 in 2023.
Comme attendu, les Hypercar du Lion ont accusé le coup face aux habitués que sont Toyota, Alpine or even Glickenhaus, since last year. At the finish, only the 9X8 No. 94 of the trio Duval-Menezes-Rossiter took the checkerboard (33e) since the No. 93 was forced to abandon after various technical problems.
