After operating mainly in Porsche Carrera Cup Asia, Earl Bamber Motorsport, the team founded by the official Porsche driver, had brilliantly succeeded in its arrival in GT3, winning the 12 Bathurst 2019 Hours, first round of the Intercontinental GT Challenge, thanks to the trio Matt Campbell – Dirk Werner – Dennis Olsen.
In 2021, EBM will take a new step by moving towardsIMSA, by joining forces with the Hardpoint Motorsports team, which was competing with an Audi R8 LMS GT3 this year in the American series.
Earl Bamber will be the crew's lead driver, joined by Hardpoint boss Rob Ferriol.
In a joint effort with @hardpointteam, @EBMTeam will head for the States in 2021 for a full-season entry into the @IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship GTD class with @earlbamber and @robferriol in the #Porsche #911GT3R.#IMSA #PorscheCustomerRacing pic.twitter.com/tNInsBmYCU
