The day after his victory in the Sprint Race and his 5^e pole position this year, Max Verstappen has the opportunity to further accentuate its domination. Author of the 100^e pole position in the history of Red Bull, the Dutchman is looking for the 58^e victory of his career.

Behind him, the three-time reigning world champion will be protected by his teammate Sergio Pérez who has once again completed the front row this campaign. Ambushing in the Red Bull exhausts, Fernando Alonso will try at all costs to hang on to his third position to try to get on the podium for the first time this season. It remains to be seen if the racing pace of his Aston Martin will allow him to stand up to Ferrari, with Charles Leclerc 6^e right in front of his teammate Carlos Sainz.

On the tricolor side, Esteban Ocon reached Q2 for the third time in a row this year and achieved his best result with a 13^e place. Well placed, he could take advantage of the racing facts to hope to score his first points in 2024. Pierre Gasly also passed the threshold of Q1, a first for him this season, and will start 15^e.
