Associated with Raffaele Marciello and Timur Boguslavskiy on the Mercedes-AMG n°88 from the Akkodis ASP team, Jules Gounon wins for 5e times in his career Endurance Cup. The French driver who has been racing under Andorran license since the end of 2022 is only one victory away from the record of six successes in the category held by Belgian Maxime Martin. Starting from pole position, the French team's Mercedes-AMG led the first stint, before falling to fifth place over the following hours. The No. 88, however, was never left behind, which allowed Marciello to put on a show to come back from the penultimate stint. The Swiss climbed from fifth to first place and was no longer worried afterward. He went to pick a 13e personal podium in the Endurance Cup.

Next step for Akkodis ASP: the 24 Hours of Spa

The Var race was full of twists and turns. Comtoyou Racing withstood a late attack to continue its perfect start to the Gold Cup with the No. 21 Audi. Tresor Attempto Racing (Audi #99) came from behind to take Silver Cup honors.
