The cycle of major 24-hour races is coming to an end. After Daytona in January, Nürburgring in May and Le Mans in June, time for the 24 Hours of Spa which take place this week, from June 27 to July 2.
For this 75e edition, no less than 70 cars entered are expected. A figure “revised downwards” after the forfeit of the Mercedes-AMG GT3 No. 76 from the 7TSIX team. On the track, the program is very busy with different driving sessions before the big start.
The action has even already started since this Tuesday, June 27, the first free practice session took place, reserved for the Bronze category. After the parade in town on Wednesday, the real hostilities begin this Thursday with Free Practice 1 (11:20 a.m.-12:50 p.m.) before the Pre-Qualifications (18:10 p.m.-19:10 p.m.) and the Qualifications (21:20 p.m.-22:41 p.m.) before the night training session ( 23:00 p.m.-00:30 a.m.).
Less busy schedule on Friday with only two sessions: the Super Pole (15:35 p.m.-16:05 p.m.) and the Warm-Up (19:55 p.m.-20:25 p.m.). The grand departure of the 75 will then take placee edition of the 24 Hours of Spa on Saturday at 16:30 p.m.
