It is the story of a lightning decline. In the space of two days, Kyle Larson lost almost everything. Dismissed by the PC game iRacing, then the Nascar as well as his personal sponsors, laid off (temporarily) by his Chip Ganassi Racing team, the 27-year-old American has this time definitively lost the support of his team and the manufacturer Chevrolet.
While the Californian was publishing a race on the Twitch platform, he communicated with his spotter when testing his microphone by calling him “nigger”. The six-time Cup Series winner has apologized, but American society is intransigent.
This Tuesday, April 14, Chip Ganassi Racing announced the end of its partnership with a driver who had defended their colors since 2013. Kyle's comments were both offensive and unacceptable, especially given the values of our organization. As we continued to evaluate the situation with all parties involved, it became clear that this was the only appropriate action to take. »

Father of a family, Kyle Larson the outcast finds himself without any steering wheel or sporting contract. Furthermore, his reputation and integrity are significantly damaged in a country that places disproportionate importance on these qualities.
