Kyle Busch (Joe Gibbs Racing) did not change his good habits by dominating the field in the Nationwide Series. The pilot of the Toyota No. 54, who started in third position, quickly rose to the lead of the race by passing poleman Brad Keselowski on the sixth lap and almost never let go of his position until 168th. The Blue Jeans Go Green 200 was shortened due to rain, with the red flag following a race interruption following the accident of Ryan Reed (Roush Fenway Racing). This is the third consecutive victory in Phoenix for the 2009 Nationwide champion who has seven successes in total on the Arizona oval and 64 victories in the discipline.
Kevin Harvick (JR Motorsports) and Brad Keselowski complete the top three ahead of Kyle Larson (Turner Scott Motorsports) and Matt Kenseth (Joe Gibbs Racing). Elliott Sadler (Joe Gibbs Racing) placed sixth, being the first driver to challenge for the title. The driver of the No. 6 Toyota is ahead of Trevor Bayne (Roush Fenway Racing) and Regan Smith (JR Motorsports) who retains the lead in the Championship with a five-point lead following his victory at Daytona.
