Victor, for your first qualification in PCCF you made two top-5s and the poles as a rookie with the added bonus of a third place for the C2. We can imagine your satisfaction!

Honestly, I was aiming for two top-3 finishes. I thought I had the pace to do it. Louis (Rousset) had a great lap for C1 but overall I'm pretty satisfied.

How do you explain your rapid adaptation to this new car?

We worked a lot with the Martinet by Alméras team. The winter tests allowed me to acclimatize well. I have in my hands a high-performance car even if it is still a little lacking compared to Alessandro Ghiretti (poleman of the day). My teammates already have a season under their belt and they are good references in terms of data.

What is the most difficult compared to the car that you were flying last year?

The weight because the Porsche is much heavier. I have difficulty stopping the car in corners. I sometimes arrive too quickly because I was going much harder before. I have to force myself to ride more quietly while being very clean.

And have your seat on the left of the car?

It didn't really bother me. Although I am not in the middle, the vision is very good. The heat bothers me more. (Laughs)

How will you manage this first departure in PCCF?

By starting fifth in the C1, I am on the right side of the track. I shouldn't tell myself that I have to start the year because it's my first. I will try to keep my place and why not win one.

What is the objective this weekend?

Take big points first. Obviously, I want to win the rookie. I'm starting in front of my rivals so that's an advantage. I am focused on the general because I think a top-4 is accessible. I also have to understand overtaking, which is not necessarily easy with this car.

Is this also your season’s ambition?

Top-4 overall would be very good, or even top-3! I don't forget the rookie title, it's not the priority but you have to have it.
