54 points collected, the maximum possible in a meeting, Alessandro Ghiretti leaves Barcelona without having left anything to the competition. Author of two poles, double race winner and holder of the fastest laps, the driver Schumacher CLRT was obviously over the moon: “ I am really very happy. The team did a fantastic job and the car was exceptional. As soon as I was in front, I could unwind, it was crazy. » His enormous racing pace made his task easier in C1, finished more than twelve seconds ahead of his runner-up.

The second race of the weekend was going to be a little less quiet since Alessandro Ghiretti had to defend from the first corner on Mathys Jaubert (Martinet by Alméras). “ I got off to a very good start but the long straight allowed him to come back to my level. He braked very late and spun me a bit. We touched each other but it was nothing serious. » Forced to go through the loophole, the resident of Martinet by Alméras found himself obliged to give back first place to the poleman. “ It took him a little while to get me back into position. I waited, paying attention to my tires to escape once in front. » Once he was back at the top of the rankings, the Junior Porsche Motorsport 2024 widened the gap to win again.

Seen as one of the favorites for the title, his first weekend of the season only reinforces this idea. However, the main person concerned does not want to think about it: “ Last year, I won the first two races and I wasn't champion yet. I just have to give my best every time and we'll take stock at the end of the championship. »
