Guerrieri winner of the C2 at Zandvoort

Esteban Guerrieri (Honda) increased his lead in the Drivers' standings by winning WTCR Race 2 at Zandvoort (Netherlands) where he started from pole. The Argentinian resisted pressure from the Volkswagen Golf GTI TCRs of Benjamin Leuchter and Johan Kristoffersson to score his second victory of the season after winning the inaugural event in Marrakech (Morocco).

Yvan Muller (Lynk & Co) had to settle for 9th place after suffering a slight off-track event while the Alsatian lost his pole in Race 3 to his nephew Yann Ehrlacher who beat him.

The future pole-sitter ranked behind Nicky Catsburg (Hyundai), Mikel Azcona (Cupra), Augusto Farfus (Hyundai) and Norbert Michelisz (Hyundai). Nestor Girolami (Honda) completed the Top 10 ahead of Rob Huff (Volkswagen) and Thed Björk (Lynk & Co). Aurélien Panis (Cupra) finished 14th ahead of Jean-Karl Vernay (Audi).

WTCR Race 3 will be broadcast on Eurosport Player from 16:30 p.m.
