Things continue to move within Hyundai. Last December Cyril Abiteboul who was not yet the president of the entire entity said that he planned to make several changes so that his team corresponded to his ambitions. The day after a 2e convincing success in WRC confirming the strategy put in place by the Frenchman among the crews, movements were made internally at the level of the customer competition department.

Two new positions appear in the organization chart. Andrea Cisotti is now Project Manager for Rally2 while Julien Moncet has an identical function for the circuit. At the same time, Benoît Nogier is appointed as Customer Racing Manager. The goal announced by Hyundai is to better target and improve the elements of this service.

In this trio, Nogier is the main novelty, Cisotti and Moncet having been part of the squad for several years. Formerly commercial director at Citroën Racing, Peugeot Sport and motor racing director for Renault Sport the Frenchman has great experience in this area. He will coordinate the planning, sales and after-sales teams within the Customer Racing department to provide the highest level of support to Rally2 and TCR customers.

« Hyundai Motorsport has created a Customer Racing department which enjoys a good reputation in rally and on the track, did he declare. As Customer Racing Manager, my first task is to maintain this reputation and build on what already exists, with the people working in the department and our relationships with customers. We can also begin to define a strategy for the future of Hyundai Motorsport Customer Racing, to consolidate our position in motorsport and give teams and drivers the confidence they need to become – or remain – customers of Hyundai Motorsport. »
