After winning the title last year in the British Rally Championship with Adrien Fourmaux, the English team wants to do it again. For this, two Ford Fiesta Rally2s will be lined up for Garry Pearson and Max McRae.

If nothing concrete has yet been announced in WRC2 to succeed Adrien fourmaux and Grégoire Munster, M-Sport was activated for the competition on the other side of the Channel. “ The BRC is a championship that is close to Malcolm’s heart (Wilson, Editor’s note), to myself and to the whole of M-Sport, explains Richard Millener. That’s why it’s vital for us to be represented in the UK’s premier series. » In order to retain the crown obtained last year by Adrien Fourmaux and Alexandre Coria, M-Sport is banking on a duo with very different characteristics.

Running since 2008, Garry Pearson (32 years old) has excellent knowledge of English rallies. Second in the 2023 championship after displaying good consistency, he will have the opportunity to aim for the title. He will be a good reference for Max McRae.

Alister's son was born in Australia where he began his career. Having started to discover European events two years ago, Colin McRae's nephew tackled theERC Junior last year where he didn't completely convince. Four rounds are currently on its program in the BRC. Will he be more comfortable with the Fiesta Rally2?

« I am very happy to announce that I will be participating in the BRC with M-Sport, rejoiced the pilot who will be 20 years old this year. I'm looking forward to gaining great experience driving a Rally2 and learning a lot working with this incredible team! »

Unlike last year, this year the BRC will take place mainly in the United Kingdom with the introduction of new events.

“The duo formed by Garry and Max is really very strong,” assures Millener. I'm curious to see how they will fare with the latest Fiesta Rally2. The task will not be easy, as the number of participants in the championship is the highest in years, partly thanks to the new calendar, but also to the recently announced television coverage for each meeting. »
