Cardabelles: First for Todeschini

Under pressure from Jean-Baptiste Franceschi, Florent Todeschini wins the Cardabelles, his first rally in the French Championship.

In the lead on the evening of a dramatic first day, Florent Todeschini, co-driven by Sabrina de Castelli, held on during the second stage to win a round of the French Rally Championship on Earth for the first time.

Forced to play with the settings of his i20 N Rally2, Todeschini was able to resist the pressure from Jean-Baptiste Franceshi.

The driver of the Fabia Rally2 evo takes a promising second place which brings him a little closer to a second title of French Rally Champion on Earth after the one won in 2020.

Benjamin Clemençon took the opportunity to score his first podium of the season.

All the pilots logically dedicated this rally to André Vigroux, road commissioner, who tragically disappeared during the first stage following a trip off the road.
