Adrien Fourmaux's first WRC podium in figures

Adrien Fourmaux has just won his first WRC podium thanks to his third place at the Swedish Rally, and becomes the 31st Frenchman to climb onto the podium in the premier category.

Adrien fourmaux will have waited for his 47th start in WRC to obtain his first podium in the premier category, during the Rally of Sweden 2024. The Frenchman then obtained three 5th places as his best result until then (Croatia 2021, Kenya 2021, Monte-Carlo 2024).

The native of Seclin (North) becomes the 31st Frenchman to climb on the podium since the creation of the WRC in 1973. He joins Francis Vincent, Patrice Servant, Jean-François Piot, Pierre-Louis Moreau, Jean-Pierre Manzagol, Alain Coppier , Bernard Consten, Jean-Pierre Ballet and Bryan Bouffier among the French with a WRC podium. However, he is the 3rd Frenchman in history to achieve a podium on the Swedish Rally, after Sébastien Loeb (5 podiums including 1 victory) and Sébastien Ogier (4 podiums including 3 victories).

Since the launch of the Rally1 era, in 2022, Adrien Fourmaux is the 11th driver to achieve a podium in the premier category and the 3rd Frenchman to finish on the box after Sébastien Loeb (1 victory) and Sébastien Ogier (4 victories, 8 podiums).

Adrien Fourmaux won his 5th special victory during SS11 of the Swedish Rally, which ranks him 124th in the list of special victories, still far from the record-setters Sébastien Loeb (939 scratches) and Markku Alen (801 scratches)

After Bryan Bouffier in 2014, Sébastien Ogier between 2017-2018 and Sébastien Loeb in 2022, Adrien Fourmaux became the 4th Frenchman to finish on the podium with M-Sport since 2006 and the takeover of the Ford program by the private British team.

That is 10 years and 30 days: this is the date from which the last trace of a Frenchman other than Sébastien Loeb or Sébastien Ogier on a WRC podium dates back. It was Bryan Bouffier aboard a private Ford Fiesta during the 2014 Monte-Carlo Rally (2nd place).

28 years, 9 months and 15 days

Finally, Adrien Fourmaux scored his first WRC podium at the age of 28 years, 9 months and 15 days. For comparison, Sébastien Ogier gleaned his first podium at 25 years, 5 months and 28 days (2009 Acropolis Rally), while Sébastien Loeb climbed onto the box for the first time at 27 years, 10 months and 22 days (2002 Monte-Carlo Rally).
