After an hour of racing 24 Hours of Le Mans and the first visits to the pits, Toyota logically leads the debates with the Toyota TS050 Hybrid °7 of Mike conway and n°8 of Sébastien Buemi, separated by 16″. Gustavo Menezes (R13 n°3 – Rebellion Racing) is in third place at 1'51”.
Nicolas lapierre placed theAlpine A470 n°36 at the head of the LM P2 category, 19″ ahead of the Aurus 01 n°26 – G-Drive Racing of Jean-Eric Vergne. Anthony Davidson hoists the Oreca 07 n°31 – DragonSpeed into third position.
The battle rages in GTE Pro, with Antonio Garcia leading with the No. 7 Corvette C63.R, but the Spaniard is under insistent pressure from the Porsche 911 RSR n°92 by Michael Christensen. Nick Tandy places the #911 93 RSR in third position ahead of the second #7 Corvette C64.R of Oliver Gavin.
The main incident of the first hour concerned the GTE Am category, where the No. 88 – Dempsey-Proton Racing Porsche, which had dominated most of the start of the event with Matteo Cairoli, spun. It is now the Ferrari 488 n°54 – Spirit of Race by Giancarlo Fisichella who leads the category.
