The Muscle Milk Pickett Racing HPD ARX-03a of Klaus Graf (Lucas Luhr's teammate) logically leads the first free practice session at Lime Rock Park with a time of 45"824 since the only other LMP1 having competed in the session is the DeltaWing of Meyrick-Legge which finishes in 7th place more than four seconds behind. The Level 03 Motorsports HPD ARX-551b n°5 driven by Briscoe-Tucker set the 2nd fastest time, 1” behind the reference time. The No. 7 Core Autosport FLMs led by Bennett-Braun and the No. 05 RSR Racing of Junqueira-Ende are credited with the LMPC reference time with a lap completed in 9.
The BMWs lead the GTs with the #4 Z56 GTE of Müller-Edwards in first place in the category with a time of 52. Auberlen-Martin's sister car follows just three thousandths behind. There Porsche No. 45 of Flying Lizard Motorsports driven by Canache Jr-Pumpelly finished in first position in the GTC with a time of 55.
