Racing Team Nederland will significantly change its crews after the 24 Hours of Le Mans (Sarthe, June 16-17). If the team owner, Fritz van Eerd, as well as the ex-Caterham driver in F1 Giedo van der Garde are confirmed, the veteran Jan Lammers (23 participations including a victory in the general classification in 1988 with Jaguar) will take a well-deserved retirement at the age of 61. He will give up his seat to the young Nyck de Vries (23 years old) for the remainder of the Super Season WEC (World Championship ofEndurance).
Nyck de Vries will thus juggle between Endurance on a Dallara P217 in the LM P2 category and the end of his season in Formula 2 on behalf of Prema Racing.
