IMSA – Porsche leads EL1 in Virginia

Earl Bamber set the best time in the first practice session of theIMSA at Virginia International Raceway where only the GTLMs and GTDs made the trip this weekend. The pilot of the Porsche 911 RSR No. 912 completed the lap of the Virginia circuit in 1'43''232, ahead of the No. 18 Ford GT of Joey Hand by 66 thousandths.

Antonio Garcia placed his No. 7 Corvette C3R in third place just ahead of the second Ford GT driven by Richard Westbrook.

Madison Snow was the fastest of the GTD with a time of 1'45''722 signed at the wheel of the No. 48 Lamborghini Huracan. Paul Miller Racing finished at the front as its second car was the closest with Spencer Pumpelly in the #16.
