Porsche Motorsports North America has been penalized with 35 points in the Manufacturers' standings in the GTD category in the United Sportscar Championship after an infraction discovered following the Laguna Seca (California) race. An aerodynamic part has not passed the regulatory approval process. L'IMSA clarified that the part would have been validated if it had followed the process.
