Eleventh in the general classification, Kamui Kobayashi tackles the Italian round of the world championship Formula 1 with confidence. However, the Sauber team resident has never completed a single lap in a Grand Prix on the circuit nicknamed “The Temple of Speed”. Last year, he was forced to retire from his first lap.
“Monza will be a challenge, underlines the Japanese. We need to find the best possible set-up for the car and see how fast we can be on the long straights. Last year we qualified 12th, which wasn't so bad, as we expected to encounter difficulties. Hopefully the race this year goes better.
