The association of stables F1, which brings together nine of the ten current teams on the grid, continues its standoff with the FIA. FOTA confirms what we told you on Thursday: it wants a two-stage capping of budgets and proposes technical collaboration with the new teams, rather than two-speed regulations. However, the nine teams represented by FOTA will only agree to continue the F1 adventure in 2010 on the sole condition that the FIA accepts its proposals.
