25 cars for Sprint Cup launch at Brands Hatch

Everything is almost ready for the opening of the 2024 GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup. This is planned for Brands Hatch on May 4 and 5, 4 weeks after the launch of the season at Paul-Ricard with theEndurance Cup

In the English region, 25 cars are expected, divided into the Pro (11), Gold Cup (5) and Silver Cup (9) categories. In total, 8 manufacturers appear on this first list of entrants from Brands Hatch: Ferrari, Lamborghini, BMW, Aston Martin, Mercedes, Porsche, Audi and McLaren.

Title holders in the Sprint Cup, Tresor Attempto Racing will once again field Ricardo Feller in the No. 8 Audi R3 LMS GT99 EVO II. The Swiss, crowned with Mattia Drudi last year, will be associated with the German Alex Aka.

For its part, Team WRT begins the reconquest of the lost crown in 2023. The Belgian team arrives with two BMW M4 GT3s. The fans Dries Vanthoor and Charles Weerts will pair up in the No. 32 while Maxime Martin and Valentino Rossi will be together on No. 46.

Switching to Mercedes in the off-season, Boutsen VDS enters two AMG GT3s. One in Pro, the No. 9, entrusted to Jules Gounon and Maximilian Götz, and the other in Silver, the No. 10, which will be shared by the French Aurélien Panis and César Gazeau.
