Danica Patrick (Stewart-Haas Racing – Chevrolet) was fined $20 for its behavior following its collision with Kasey Kahne (Hendrick Motorsports – Chevrolet) during the Fontana event in California last weekend.

Disciplinary officials criticize the former resident of IndyCar Series for not having respected safety rules (reviews regarding the extraction of an accident vehicle following the incident between Tony Stewart and Kevin Ward Jr in 2014 in a sprint car and which cost the life of the latter mentioned ), by going to express his dissatisfaction to Kahne at the side of the track (see video below). Danica Patrick is also placed on probation for four races.

Furthermore, Kyle Busch (Joe Gibbs Racing – Toyota), the reigning Sprint Cup Series champion, was fined $10 for failing to fulfill his media obligations following the finish of the Xfinity Series race. Here again, officials of the Nascar have placed the youngest of the Busch brothers on probation for the next four events on the calendar.
