Yokohama will be replaced by Goodyear for the next WTCR season. The American manufacturer signed a contract for the next 3 years which was approved by the FIA World Council. The supplier will bring its Eagle tires F1 SuperSport with a single type of rubber for dry conditions and a second for wet or soggy tracks.
The regulations restrictions will remain the same with 22 dry tires for the first event in which a driver participates and 26 for the next with only 18 new tires. Drivers will not be able to use more than 16 rain tires per event.
