Vallelunga – Michelisz on pole for Race 1

Yann Ehrlacher (Cyan Racing-Lynk & Co) saw himself as the first pole-sitter of the 2024 season, but in the final moments the driver Hyundai Motorsport came to steal the reference time for the first qualifying of the year. 0.247 seconds separate the two men. The good performance is signed by Esteban Guerrieri (Goat Racing- Honda Civic type R) third fastest in race 1. The rest of the grid is made up of Mikel Azcona (BRC Squadra Corse- Hyundai Elantra) and Thed Björk at the wheel of second Lynk & Co 03 official.
Nestor Girolami for his debut with Hyundai set the 10th fastest time which gives him pole position for the second race of the weekend contested on a reverse grid, Sunday afternoon.
The first race will be contested from 17:15 p.m. this Saturday.
