Jérôme Pélichet withdraws
Third in the Silk Way 2021 and 10th in the Dakar 2020, Jérôme Pélichet was one of the outsiders for a place of honor on this Dakar 2022 with his Optimus buggy from the MD team Rally Sport. Unfortunately, the public works contractor did not start the Prologue due to a positive coronavirus test.
Jérôme Pélichet had already experienced disillusionment last year, rolling over in the 10th stage while he was in 11th place.
