Bordeaux Aquitaine Classic: Warm-up for Rouillard

The Toulousain came to ride at the BAC with a view to the opening of the French Championship at Le Touquet during the Bordeaux Aquitaine Classic (February 23-24). Lobry (Fiesta R5) wins the first time ahead of the local Purrey (Mitsubishi A8) followed by Rouillard (Fabia R5) and Lacouture (BMW Compact F2000), in his garden. But Castillon's battle was cut short, the Ford's clutch giving way in the second qualifying session. Purrey constantly maintains the pace, aware that his Japanese can do nothing against the Czech; Lacouture gives up, the rear axle struggling to cope with the relentless bump landing; left in “ rally 2 » on Sunday, the partner of this pretty unanimous national team could not finish. To complete the podium, the battle raged constantly between an astonishing Vigion (Twingo R2), undoubtedly signing the feat of the weekend, and Dupouy (306 F2000) consoling himself with the group victory. Hommeau cleaned up in group N, despite engine shutdowns; Ulbert, finally seeing a finish, won the 2 liter class after a tough battle with Schmiederer, not making it out of the final ES. For half a minute, Lemonnier imposes his Porsche to that of Levy in the understudy VH rally.
