Catalonia SS9 – Thierry Neuville on his way

The ninth special of Rally Catalonia saw Thierry Neuville and Martijn Wydaeghe win once again in front of their teammates at Hyundai, Dani Sordo and Cándido Carrera, and both Toyota TGR Yaris. The Belgian completed the 24 kilometers of El Montmell in 12:03.5. The Spanish pair finished in 12:03.8, almost two seconds ahead of Elfyn Evans and Martin Scott. Sébastien Ogier and Julien Ingrassia conceded another six seconds on the leaders of the event. Also note the duo's fifth place Adrien fourmaux and Alexandre Coria on their Ford Fiesta, in 12:09.8, that is to say almost in the same time as the seven-time world champions.
