SS12: Ogier does not give up

Sébastien Ogier (M-Sport) signed the scratch in the second passage of Media Luna, the SS12 of Rally of Mexico, 27,42km long, which he completed in 16'44''0. The Frenchman took 2”2 back from Kris Meeke (Citroën). Ott Tänak (M-Sport) followed at 5s, taking back 3s at Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) who ranked behind his teammate Dani Sordo (Hyundai).

The Spaniard saw his time corrected following the cancellation of his 10-minute penalty and the application of fixed times. The i20 driver WRC rose to 8th place.

Kris Meeke maintains a lead of 21 seconds over Sébastien Ogier, while Thierry Neuville still completes the top three. Ott Tänak remains 4th ahead of Hayden Paddon and the drivers Toyota Juho Hänninen and Jari-Matti Latvala.

Éric Camilli (Ford) took control of WRC 2 with a 6”8 lead over Pontus Tidemand (Skoda). The Frenchman occupies 9th place ahead of the Swede.
