Mikko Hirvonen (Ford) finally stood out today by being the fastest of the front men in the Valla special. The Flying Finn completed the 14,84km course in 8:43:3, ahead of Petter Solberg (Citroën) by eight tenths and his teammate Jari-Matti Latvala (+ 3:3). Matthew Wilson (Ford) finished at 19??9.
The Citroën drivers once again shine in this special. Sébastien Ogier signs his third scratch in a row with a time of 8?39??7, ahead of Sébastien Loeb by eight tenths, and can still hope for a top ten if he continues at this pace.
Jari-Matti Latvala remains 22??9 ahead of Mikko Hirvonen while Petter Solberg is 38??1 behind the second Ford driver. Matthew Wilson and Khalid Al-Qassimi (Ford) maintain their fourth and fifth positions respectively.
