Eric Brunson (Subaru Impreza) gives up two seconds to his rival Jean-Marie Cuoq (Ford Focus WRC), the latter failing at 5??8 from the Peugeot 307 WRC by Stéphane Sarrazin. Romain Dumas (Porsche 997) remains at the forefront with 6??9 behind. Dany Snobeck (Citroën C4 WRC) only gives up eight tenths to the leader of the Rally Lyon Charbonnières.
Eric Brunson still has a 17??8 lead over Jean-Marie Cuoq, who takes second place from Dany Snobeck for a two-second gap. Romain Dumas remains 32 seconds from the lead in the race ahead of the 307 WRC of Pascal Trojani.
