- Propelled to pole position after Rafael Câmara's (Prema) penalty for not having slowed down sufficiently under the yellow flag, Martinius Stenshorne (R-ace GP) won Race 1 for his FRECA debut this Saturday near Imola .
- Author of a very good start, the Norwegian was able to resist the Prema armada behind him. Facing the three single-seaters from the Italian team with Andrea Kimi Antonelli in the lead ahead of Rafael Câmara and Lorenzo Fluxa, Martinius Stenshorne did not tremble. Quickly sheltered, the R-ace GP driver was able to manage his opponents and in particular the two Safety Car restarts to never be worried. He was even able to exult earlier than expected since the race did not come to an end after the appearance of a red flag 3 minutes from the end (incidents with Adam Fitzgerald and Lucas Medina).
- No victory for Prema but big points since Andrea Kimi Antonelli, Rafael Câmara and Lorenzo Fluxa respectively ranked 2e, 3e and 4e.
- The only Frenchman in the Top 10 at the start, Alessandro Gisuti (G4 Racing) was also at the finish. Author of a good performance for his first race in FRECA, the Ile-de-France resident gained two positions to take the checkerboard in 7e instead.
- The other Tricolores had a little less success. Victor Bernier (MP Motorsport), Owen Tangavelou (Trident), Sami Meguetounif (MP Motorsport) and Marcus Amand (ART Grand Prix) respectively finished in the 12e, 16e, 17e and 18e positions. Maceo Capietto (RPM) gave up in the first round.
