Even if Bentley has withdrawn from any official involvement in GT3 for several seasons, the British manufacturer has not forgotten its successes in the various events in the category. Thus, the English tuner Mulliner decided to celebrate Bentley's success at the 12 Bathurst 2020 Hours through a special series.

Two Continental GT S have been modified to pay tribute to the success of Jules Gounon, Jordan Pepper and Maxime Soulet on February 2, 2020 at the Australian Mount Panorama. The first car is inspired by the livery of the winning race car, with a glossy apple green exterior, contrasted by a Beluga black roof, mirrors, lower bumper and rear trunk silhouette. The front fascia also includes the number 7 painted on the grille, as with the racing model.

All exterior bright chrome is replaced with a polished black finish. The Styling specification (front splitter, side skirts and rear diffuser in carbon fiber) gives a more “racing” look.

Inside, we find a few discreet nods. The word "BATHURST" has been stitched onto the headrests and the word "One of Two" is visible on the footrests. A unique metal inlay representing the circuit has been included and the names of the victorious drivers as well as the number seven can be found on the center console.

Bathurst 12 Hour Director Shane Rudzis is delighted to see his event serve as a marketing tool for such a renowned manufacturer. “Bentley has quickly become an iconic part of the Bathurst 12 Hour and the favorite team of most participants. Their victory in 2020 remains one of the most popular in racing history.

“We are proud to help Bentley celebrate this famous result with this pair of incredibly special and unique Continental GT Ss, just like the pair of Continental GT3s that have been so impressive on the Mountain for many memorable years. »

The second car is painted Silver Tempest to reflect the introduction of the second generation Continental GT3 which was launched in late 2017 and began competing in 2018. Car number two mirrors the first, with black chrome and Styling specification carbon fiber exterior and a custom interior. Each car will come with a framed commemorative artifact and a 1/18 scale model of the winning car. This will undoubtedly cost much less than its real version, even if the prices have not been revealed.
