The future of Ferrari in GT3 will take shape around the 296 GT3, a revised version of the 296 GTB. This model will have the tough mission of taking over from the very prolific 488 GT3, holder of 107 titles in its Evo and 2020 configurations, with 429 victories in 770 starts.

This 296 GT3 will be the result of the association of the Italian brand with Oreca. It will also mark the return of a 6-cylinder engine in a racing car of the Prancing Horse. In accordance with the technical regulations, it will not be equipped with an electrical unit.

Already in assembly in Signes, this new GT3 will be in development in the coming months and its racing debut is planned for 2023.
