Taking inspiration from its supercar released in 2020, the MC20, Maserati plans to soon release a beast from its production line in Modena. Her name ? Project24. “ A project (designated by a code name) from a limited series,” indicates the transalpine manufacturer.

In fact, only 62 units of the Projet24 are planned by Maserati allowing its future owners “ to elevate the brand's limitless performance to a new level of adrenaline on the track. » This new supercar from the Modena firm will be exclusively reserved for use on the circuit, making it “track-only”.

The Maserati Project24 inherits the technical specifications of the MC20 which have been pushed further for this new model. The new turbochargers allow the Nettuno V6 to reach 740 horsepower. The future Italian beast also features an innovative suspension, a carbon-ceramic braking system, tires suitable for racing as well as safety features approved by the FIA. On the scale, it weighs 1 kg, thus establishing a weight/power ratio of around 250 kg/hp.

In addition, Maserati will offer “ a unique range of services, including specific track experiences and cutting-edge support, exclusively for Project24 owners."

For the moment, Maserati has not given any indication as to the amount to subscribe to afford the Project24 nor as to the launch of its production. But one thing is certain, future buyers will have to sign a big check to afford one of the 62 Project24s planned by the Modena manufacturer.
