The first Coyote Store opened in 2012 on avenue de la Grande-Armée, in the district of Paris with the most dealerships and accessories stores for cars and two wheels. Nine years later, Coyote closed its store to reopen a new one fifty meters away, at 7 Avenue.

In the meantime, the pioneer of radar warning systems, renamed driving assistance assistants, has bought Traqueur, designer of a post-theft recovery solution. Initially reserved for cars, the solution has been adapted for motorcycles and scooters.

Coyote Secure Rider, that's its name, takes the form of a box to be hidden in the two-wheeler. Its installation is carried out by partner dealers, and now also directly by Coyote, in its stores in Paris and Lille. They disassemble the two-wheeler to hide the device, which offers 3 years of autonomy with its own battery. Once the battery is empty, customers must replace the case “at advantageous conditions”, that is to say for less than 200 euros, without further details.

If stolen, Coyote can obtain an approximate position via Sigfox, a cellular network dedicated to connected objects. It also wakes up the tracker, which then emits a low frequency radio signal, therefore long range and with a high penetration rate. He sends a “detective” to the field so that he can trace this signal to the two-wheeler, including in the basement or in a box. The device works a bit like an Apple AirTag, indicating the approximate direction and distance of the two-wheeler, but on a large scale.

Once the two-wheeler is located, Coyote involves law enforcement agencies throughout Europe. It claims to recover 91% of stolen vehicles within 48 hours. If the two-wheeler is not found within 30 days, Coyote will reimburse the commissioning costs and the subscription up to 2000 euros.

The box Coyote Secure Rider costs 200 euros, then the subscription costs 10 euros/month or 120 euros/year, with a 2-year commitment.

The new Coyote Store Paris is therefore located at 7 avenue de la Grande Armée 75116 Paris. It is open Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 20 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 19 p.m.
