One week after receiving confirmation of the Floyd Vanwall Racing Team's entry to the WEC 2023 and therefore its entry into the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Vanwall, whose ownership was bought by Colin Kolles, presents its first road car.

This new sports sedan aims to provide further proof of the seriousness of the manufacturer's commitment and technical capacity, in particular by carrying out two projects at the same time.

In competition, the Vanwall Vandervell 680 Hypercar will be entrusted to drivers Tom Dillmann (France), Esteban Guerrieri (Argentina). Jacques Villeneuve (Canada), world champion of F1 in 1997, winner of the 500 Indianapolis 1995 and champion IndyCar in 1995, will join them.

The Vandervell S is a four-door electric hatchback with aggressive shapes, characterized by aerodynamic details.

The extremely sporty look is underlined by the large carbon fiber front aero splitter, side skirts and rear spoiler, which underline the car's fiery personality. The launch color is classic green which recalls the English origins of the Vanwall brand, the first manufacturer to win Formula 1. It was in 1958.

Styling-wise, the front of the car features very bold geometric lines, with an aggressive wing shape that incorporates the large air intake of the cooling system.

The hood profile has two side cuts that culminate into the side fenders, which wrap around the 22-inch alloy wheels and low-profile tires. The sides with a very slender dynamic profile are highlighted by a wide body side groove which extends into the two doors. The rear of the car has another sporty detail with an integrated spoiler above the rear window.

The interior of the car is characterized by its cockpit with particular attention to the driving position, remarkable ergonomics and references to the world of motorsport. All this is achieved without sacrificing comfort through the use of the highest quality materials, such as fine leather and exposed carbon fiber.

This sedan is available in two versions with different technical specifications:

Vandervell S, 4-wheel drive, 320 hp, combined range approx. 450 km, 185 km/h max speed, 0-100 in 4,9 s
Vandervell S Plus, 4 wheel drive, 580 hp, combined range approx. 420 km, 265 km/h max speed, 0-100 in 3,4 s

The Vandervell S Plus will be produced in a limited series of 500 units in Greding (Germany). The S and S Plus will be sold directly and distributed by partners, with deliveries starting in the third quarter of 2023.

It will be available from 128 euros excluding VAT. The choice of colors is made at the request of customers and includes five complementary cockpit interior options. Bespoke options are also available upon request.

The car is fully approved for the road and covered by a 2-year quality and service guarantee.

« Vanwall's goal is to create unique, new generation cars of high quality and great performance, bringing them to the maximum possible development, capable of transmitting the strong passion that drives the Vanwall company. ", says Colin Kolles, Managing Director of Vanwall GmbH.

Vanwall's future plans will see the production of a limited edition version of the Vanwall Vandervell 1000 Hypercar, the road-legal LMH. The car is currently under development and has already completed several road and race testing sessions.
