Abiteboul joins the start-up nation and the HCVC fund

The start-up nation has a new member: Cyril Abiteboul, former Renault team principal F1 Team. The Frenchman joins the ranks of the HCVC investment fund as Venture Partner. Graduating in 2001 from the Grenoble INP engineering school, the former general manager of Renault Sport Racing thus enters the world of venture capital dedicated to disruptive technologies.

His mission : " supporting and funding the next generation of deeptech entrepreneurs to transform the mobility and automotive sectors », via the next fund that HCVC will launch. 

Abiteboul « will help finance new players at the crossroads of these two worlds as well as their new technologies ranging from embedded software to artificial intelligence chips, including new generation sensors or intelligent batteries ».

Abiteboul will combine this function with its position of strategic advisor at Mecachrome
