Bentley will celebrate its 100th anniversary at Rétromobile

In 2019, Bentley reached the very respectable milestone of 100 years. The British firm plans to celebrate this number with a special stand at the Rétromobile show in Paris, from February 6 to 10.

Along with the recent Bentley Continental GT Convertible convertible, will be held the Bentley EXP 2. It is quite simply the oldest Bentley still in working order. Built in 1919 by Walter Owen Bentley, the EXP 2 has a 3-liter four-cylinder engine, capable of taking the car to nearly 130 km/h.

The EXP 2 took part in several English races. Development engineer and driver Frank Clement, won the Junior Sprint Handicap on the Brooklands oval on May 16, 1921 on board, allowing Bentley to acquire his first victory in motorsport.
