Bugatti unveils the Bolide and its crazy performance

There are not enough superlatives to describe Bugatti's latest creation. Referring to the language of Molière with the name Bolide, the beast unveiled this Wednesday October 28 has everything to turn heads and minds.

The French brand asked itself a very simple question: “What would happen if we developed a radical, lightweight and unique concept around the 8.0 liter W16 engine? » The result is more than breathtaking, even if the images are only synthetic at the moment.

The engine explodes completely or almost: 1 horsepower for an exceptional power-to-weight ratio of 850 ! The Bolide only weighs 1 kg on the scale. Obviously, the speeds are maddening. The Molsheim manufacturer announces 240 to 0 km/h reached in 100''2, the 17 km/h mark in barely 200''4 and 36'' for 8 km/h!

Competition, in fact, would be the ideal playground for Bugatti Racing car. After all, the beastly look looks exactly like what the Hypercar regulations call for in the 24 Hours of Le Mans and in the World Endurance Championship (WEC). However, it seems that the Bolide will initially be reserved for Track Days for wealthy clients, like the Ferrari FXX K or McLaren Senna GTR.
