Covid-19 – The 2020 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance canceled

The Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance (California) was preparing to celebrate its 70th edition with great fanfare on August 16, 2020. But the coronavirus pandemic decided otherwise; the organizers postponed their event by a year, August 15, 2021.

“My heart goes out to everyone involved in the Pebble Beach Competition who is affected by this decision, said Sandra Button, president. “Many of our competitors have been working on a special car for years, and this had to be ‘their’ moment. Some of our overseas participants were about to put their cars on boats and planes, and their own travel arrangements have long been made. The same goes for many of our international judges. »

We thank all the enthusiasts who have gathered at Pebble Beach time and time again to renew long-standing friendships, celebrate great cars, and give so generously to charities, and who have already expressed their support for the upcoming celebration regardless the date. »
