Ferrari unveils its P80/C, a one-off racing car

When a wealthy customer wants a one-of-a-kind car, Ferrari bends over backwards. The Italian manufacturer unveiled the P25/C on Monday March 80, built in a single copy and described as a “modern sports prototype”.

The owner, from a well-known family of the Maranello firm, proposed the following scheme: create a car inspired by the 330 Ferrari 3 P4/P206 and Ferrari Dino 1966 S, two of the most emblematic models of the Prancing Horse.

The project started in 2015, making this car the longest development work for the Ferrari Styling Center office on a car to date. The engineers left of the chassis of the Ferrari 488 GT3, because the wheelbase is extended by 30 millimeters compared to the road-going 488 GTB “allowed more creativity”.

Every element of the bodywork is different from the GT3 model. The front axle is wider than the rear axle, The front is wider than the rear of the vehicle. However, and it is very sad, no information relating to the performance of the P80/C (power, acceleration, top speed, recovery) has been disclosed by the manufacturer!
