The Lamborghini SVJ Roadster version revealed

Did you like the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ?, but you want to feel the breeze while driving fast? Instead, prefer the Roadster version, presented by the Italian manufacturer as part of the 2019 Geneva Motor Show on Tuesday March 5.

Based on an Aventador SV base (already a meaner version of the “classic” Aventador), the Aventador SVJ Roadster does everything like its big sister, only better. Its naturally aspirated V12 offers a hefty power of 770 horsepower for a maximum torque of 720 Nm at 6,750 rpm. The weight/power ratio is displayed at 2,05 kg/hp. Enough to allow it to reach more than 350 km/h and 0 to 100 in 2”9!

 

 

Obviously, fans who are sticklers for performance will not be satisfied with the excess weight of the Roadster (1 kg dry, or +575 kg compared to the SVJ coupe). The roof is made up of two removable carbon fiber panels, each weighing six kg.


Seulement 800 products will be produced in the workshops of Sant'Agata Bolognese (Italy). The price? Lamborghini is careful not to say it for the moment…
