The McLaren Speedtail announces itself in crazy figures

Here la McLaren the fastest produced to date. The British manufacturer has announced the upcoming arrival of the Speedtail, a new model in the ultra-exclusive McLaren Ultimate Series range.

The official press release places it in the category of “Hyper-GT” and we want to believe it in view of the technical sheet. The Speedtail will feature a hybrid engine (gasoline-electric) developing more than 1 horsepower and will be capable of reaching more than 000 km/h!

Only this photo was released by McLaren, but the design of the racing car should be softer than the Senna or P1. Design “will be futuristic and very refined”, we are assured.

Do the crazy features make you want to take out the checkbook? No need, 106 copies have already all found buyers. Not sure that 1,75 million pounds (excluding taxes), the purchase price is really popular. However, the lucky owners will have to wait until the end of 2019 at least to sit in the cockpit, placed in a central position.

The Speedtail would be a ready basis for possible participation in the new premier category created by the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO) in the World Endurance Championship (WEC), Or the prototypes will be inspired by the hypercars popular for the 2020 season.
