Lamborghini announces the return of the Countach

In Sant'Agata Bolognese (Italy), we want to break the monotony. While automotive news is calm during this summer period, Lamborghini shook up social networks by publishing a short video on Monday August 9 evening.

In this clip, we can see the old model but also hear the angry noise of the V12 engine so characteristic of the trans firmalpine… And that's about it. No press release has yet been sent by the brand founded by Ferruccio Lamborghini in 1963.

What we do know, however, is that Lamborghini must soon produce a coupe equipped with a V12 combined with an electrical system. The Aventador is at the end of its life and will be replaced in 2023; a special Ultimae series pays tribute to him.

Now it remains to be seen when Lamborghini will say more about its legendary model. The Countach, which entered automobile legend thanks to its angular look, is celebrating its half-century of existence in 2021. The brand will be present at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance (California) where announcements are commonplace. The opportunity is ripe.
